Push the Limits
When the quad rotor helicopter was introduced in 1907, it was a revolution. Innovated by Louis Breguet, it was clear the design had potential. His ideas were later refined by the likes of Oehmichen and deBothezat, but unfortunately, by 1950 significant advances in single rotor helicopters meant that the quad rotor was ostensibly shelved.
In the last decade we have seen a resurgence in capabilities, fueled by the decreasing cost of sophisticated microchips which enable control and utility in ways Louis Breguet could never have imagined. We at Horus Drones believe we are in the golden age rotor based flight. It is far too early to settle on one design, one geometry. We’ve only just begun to innovate!
Horus Drones seeks to create the most compelling, exciting and challenging drones which represent the finest in design and engineering. We thank you for taking this journey with us. We want you to push the limits, We will challenge you
